distrikt has become Leeds’ destination for work lunches, after work drinks and dinner, Saturday night drinking and partying, and even lazy Sunday afternoons.
In a city where electronic music’s influence is immersed in every cultural thread, yet still maintained as being underground and noncommercialised, the initiative behind distrikt came from the desire to bring a niche music market and everyone’s loves – food – with an undiscovered_underground twist.
With its’ eclectic mix of Middle Eastern, Mediterranean and British influences, and with a chef set on creating a unique direction for food in Leeds; Distrikt has already set itself apart from the rest.
With fresh locally sourced food prepared on a daily basis, and a reputation for thinking outside the box, distrikt’s tapas and regular menu has a lot to offer to both the diner and drink.
distrikt offers a seductive range of tapas dishes, along with speciality foraged foods, exclusive to distrikt. Examples of these are mouth watering spring lamb belly w/ muscat grapes, rock samphire & blood orange / smoked haddock, duck egg & hogweed w/ dandelion salad and for distrikt’s ‘home-made’ dessert, Lebanese donuts with lemon syrup / / roasted banana w / Jack Daniels, dark chocolate & cream
